Black N White Town

another upload from Seattle, onto Flickr. a few monochromes this time, along with a red 'stang. this is a bit of a mixture here, from the morning, the waterfront, the afternoon, all the way to the top of the Columbia Center again.
Come As You Are
the plan was to leave the Sky View, find some lunch and a record store. i couldn't leave the 'home' city of so many great rock band and not buy an album. to my disappointment the stores reside in the cool parts of town, and downtown or Pike Place just ain't cool enough, or cool at all even. i did find a second have vinyl store in the depths of the market, deep underground where few dare to travel, but it wasn't to be. i was after a BRAD album, they don't sell them here in the UK and that's a Shame....

still, i wandered and wandered around, up and down the streets, and into a few 'locals' shops to see what the buzz was about. again i attempted to find a non-starbucks brew, when i discovered that here asking for a black coffee isn't such a great idea. a black coffee in the UK, is a plain freshly brewed coffee. simple. in Seattle it's the pot at the end of the counter, that's keeping warm and going stale. i asked for a black coffee and was given a paper cup... umm... they noticed my baffled look and indicated to the pot, but it was too late to change my order - dang!
Stacked...
can you guess the theme? it isn't difficult. anyway, next up are some random buildings. this city has some great architecture.
